Eat, Learn, Move by Rick Mereki

If you haven't seen these videos by Rick Mereki, you are in for a treat. These three videos were commissioned by STA Travel Australia, and are a great way to promote travel. They really make me want to jump on a plane and go somwhere.

"3 guys, 44 days, 11 countries, 18 flights, 38 thousand miles, an exploding volcano, 2 cameras and almost a terabyte of footage... all to turn 3 ambitious linear concepts based on movement, learning and food ....into 3 beautiful and hopefully compelling short films.....

= a trip of a lifetime.

move, eat, learn"

Check out vimeo to learn some more about this wonderful series.

The Mountain by Terje Sorgjerd

Terje Sorgjerd's time lapse video at the top of El Teide, Spain's tallest mountain, is truly a thing of magic. His goal was to capture the Milky Way and the mountains of El Teide, and he did an amazing job of it. I love every second of this video.

Nuit Blanche by Spyfilms.com

If you haven't seen Nuit Blanche before, you are in for a treat. This amazing short story explores a fleeting moment between two strangers. I highly suggest watching both the film and making of, to truly see what went into making this film.

Scintillation by Xavier Chassaing

Scintillation is a very impressive short film from Xavier Chassaing, especially considering it was made about two years ago. The experimental film is made up of over 35,000 photographs and combines an innovative mix of stop motion and live projection mapping techniques.
