Urban Mixed Media Art by Liz Brizzi

Liz Brizzi is an artist from France who grew up in Los Angeles. She pulls inspiration from the raw and desolate aspects of cities.

"Her unique mixed media technique begins with the manipulation of her original photography collaged onto acrylic painted wood panels, finally blended within layers of colorful acrylic washes."

I love her compositions and great use of color. If you like her art, you can get some prints at Etsy or Society6.

La Danza by Hamish Blakely

Hamish Blakely perfectly captures the poses, emotions, and idiosyncrasies of dancing in his series La Danza. I love the detailed outifts, color choices, and the variety of moves he captures. He also has a nice series featuring The Roaring Twenties.

Super Heroes Painted by Arian Noveir

I'm really digging Arian Noveir's series Super Heroes Painted. Arian captures the essence of each character with some well placed paint splatters and shapes. Each one has a great unique look, but also fits in well with the series as a whole. The paintings look minimalist, but give away enough details to clearly see who the character is. If you like these, you can get the prints on Society6

Nuno Filipe Miranda created this wonderfully simple set of famous inspirational quotes. From Benjamin Franklin to Steve Jobs, there's a quote here for everyone. Nuno takes photos of the author, fades them into the background, and let's the quote speak for itself. Overall, a great set to keep you inspired. Imaginawesome by Garrett Miller

If you ever have trouble figuring out what your child is drawing, you should employ the services of Garrett Miller. Miller re-creates childrens' drawings and puts the two side by side on his awesome blog Imaginawesome. I love the varying styles and great use of colors in his drawings, while also staying fairly true to the original drawings.
