For being a finance student, Dominic Kamp has an amazing eye for photography. HIs shots are very colorful, have great compositions, and always capture an interesting subject. There's also quite a few digital art works in his repetoire. If you like his photos, you can download quite a few as wallpapers.
Achraf Amiri is the creative mastermind behind these very interesting illustrations of fashion designer shoes. He is a freelance art director and graphic designer based in Brussels, Belgium. When most people think of high end fashion, they probably wouldn't imagine these illustrations. Achraf has created his own niche in eclectic unconventional fashion illustrations.
This is easily one of the most impressive press/media kits I have ever seen. Chandelier Creative is the mastermind behind this amazing and creative pop-up book penthouse. It features a lot of bold text, beautiful character illustrations, and an impressive amount of details in each room, and it also comes with some samples of their work.
The phrase "Don't play with your food" clearly never resinated with London-based photographer Carl Warner. All the elements in his work are created using different foods, and he admits to spending a lot of time staring at vegetables in the supermarket.
Each image starts with a drawing in order to get the composition worked out. Then model makers and food stylists help to create the sets. The landscapes are photographed in different layers, then stitched together later. He hopes to produce a book in the future, which I will almost assuredly purchase.

Loving the Neo-Traditionalist curated by Katie Armour. Her site features some neat posts on fashion and design. The Carnival of Venice is easily the one of the most elaborate and elegant festivals around the world. Around 30k visitors go to Venice for each day for Carnivals. It is only right that someone properly capture such elegance and splendor, and that is exactly what Suchet Suwanmongkol has done. Each of his photos captures the colorful and elaborate costumes on display during Carnival. I also highly recommend checking out his other galleries.
This is a ridiculous set of dolls created by Andrew Yang from Fashion Week 2010. One of the cool things about these dolls is each one had a story to them. Another interesting thing about these dolls is the materials for them were collected from everywhere. There were materials he already had, materials from fabric stores, and even materials from dollar stores. To check out more of these dolls, check out his Flickr set.
Here is some great artwork by Lawrence Yang. The surprising thing is painting is only a hobby for Lawrence. He is an information architect by trade. Lawrence is heavily influenced by graffiti art and traditional Chinese painting. His works are mostly created with ink, marker and watercolor. Here's how Lawrence describes his paintings:
"Lawrence's paintings make use of color to communicate atmosphere and emotion, and they are concerned primarily with creating order out of chaos (and vice versa)."
