Deviant Art user LadyAdler combined her obsessions of Alphonse Mucha, 50's style pin ups and Disney princesses to create this beautiful set of Art Nouveau illustrations. I love the flourishes and background elements in her work. They add a lot of depth and meaning to each piece.

To this day, Sleeping Beauty is one of the greatest animated movies ever made. The epic fight scene between Prince Phillip and Maleficent at the end of the movie is one of the darkest and most intense ever produced by Disney. Eyvind Earle was responsible for the styling and background of the movie, and without his vision the movie might not have been the same. Here are some of his gorgeous concept art stills from the finale.
Jirka Väätäinen gives us an impressive glimpse at what the girls of Disney might look like in real life. What started out as a personal project has turned into a wildly popular series.
Each piece is a mixture of features from different pictures all over the internet. He mixes, blends and combines them together in Photoshop to come up with the final picture.

Love these illustrations by Claire Hummel (shoomlah on Deviant Art). Claire redrew Disney princesses to have more historically accurate attire. To see some of the resources she used for the dress designs, read her resource page. You can also read an FAQ about this series.
